If there is one thing that makes the holidays even more exciting, it is the guarantee that there will be cute animals to play with. Fortunately, that is no problem on Monkey Beach in Koh Phi Phi, where the monkeys live freely. Long-tailed macaque troops own the beach, for real. This location has everything you expect from it: beautiful, warm, and cheeky!
There is no other way to access the Monkey Beach apart by a boat. The bay around it is quite small and can get packed with speedboats very fast. So we recommend visiting Monkey Beach as early as possible. In the mornings, the monkeys are less agitated and friendlier, too. You are not allowed to feed the monkeys, but sadly many people still do. Please help us care for it as if it was your backyard. If you are not comfortable alongside monkeys, we recommend you stay on the boat while observing these mischievous inhabitants of the Monkey beach.
