Chaweng Noi is our favorite beach on Koh Samui. A rather exclusive zone with only a handful of five-star resorts, Chaweng Noi, is tranquil compared to its bigger sister (Chaweng Beach) next door. It offers the best sunrise view, unobstructed swimming, the whitest of sand, crystal waters, glorious scenery, and no tourist crowds even during the peak season. You will not find crazy jet-ski operators and loud parties of the neighboring main beach here – Chaweng Noi beach is sublime. It is the best beach on Koh Samui for long-distance swimming along the shore during March – September, when the sea is calm as a mirror on this side of the island.
