Haad Salad, or better known as Salad Beach by the locals, is one to explore for those seeking a paradise beach holiday. Due to its remote charm, it is no wonder that Haad Salad Beach has gained the reputation of being one of the most scenic and unspoiled beaches on Koh Phangan. Its delicate white sand is mixed with dead coral where care should be taken so as not to cut your feet during low tides.
Known to be a place once invaded by the pirates, this fantastic beach is a place where various exciting activities can be taken. Haad Salad is an ideal place for swimming where the water is pretty calm and clear all year round. Still, the higher tides between November and April make swimming more exciting, especially on the northern end of the beach, where there is less coral and sand on the sea bottom.
