Koh Ngam means Beautiful Island, and the title is not misplaced. Koh Ngam is often referred to as Koh Chang’s Phi Phi Island. Its two peaks are bridged by a palm tree-scattered, sandy spit that delivers the idyllic, tropical island scene. You may rent a scooter in Koh Chang to drive at its most southern cape, and then row over to Koh Ngam in a kayak. The island has two hills on its two adjacent islands where you get some peace cut off from the madding crowd of the other tourist spots in Koh Chang. The travelers coming to Koh Ngam can go snorkeling or laze around on its spectacular double-sided white sandy beach. The place is accessible from Long Beach in Koh Chang, too.
