Gili Pasir sandbar is one of the smallest islands in the world, completely covered in white powder beach that appears on low tide only. It is so flat you can walk a fair distance in the crystal clear water. Gili Pasir offers a surreal view from pinkish sand on a thin protrusion in the middle of the sea; two lush hills as a backdrop and the other Gilis alluring in the distance. The water has a Maldives vibe, and as high tide arrives, the island gets lost, and you’ll feel as though you’re walking on water. Expect a Pirates of Carribean-style adventure you won’t find anywhere else.
