Peguyangan Waterfall sits at the bottom of some epic cliffs but is one of the less-publicized things to see on Nusa Penida. An iconic, blue stairway leads down the cliffside with ease to a sacred water temple – a pilgrimage site for locals. The route to Peguyangan Waterfalls offers some of the most beautiful and panoramic views of the blue waters around the island and the limestone cliffs emerging from the ocean. As you walk down the steps towards Peguyangan falls, you will get a view of the blue waters, and Manta Rays diving idly in turquoise waters. On descending the steps of the Peguyangan waterfall, you reach a shrine where the locals offer prayers. The spouts provide fresh water for people to clean themselves before entering the temple.
