Diamond Beach is a trending hidden beach located on the east side of Nusa Penida island. We highly recommend adding this to your itinerary as the surrounding promises a panoramic view of verdant cliffs, limestone, enthralling stairway, and crystal clear water. Both locals and foreigners find this beach very intriguing as it was not made accessible to the public until late 2018.
Today, everyone can experience Diamond Beach through the newly constructed stairways carved from the limestone cliff itself. At the end of the stairway, vacationers can sunbathe, relax, and sink into the silky white powdered sand of this hidden beach. Not to mention that captivating cave holes make it perfect for quick Instagram pictures. Or, go seashell collecting. Some locals even say if you are lucky, you might be able to catch a glimpse of sea turtles!
What’s even more surprising, Diamond Beach has two parts to it. One has flourishing green mossy rocks and tidal rock pools and the other, white powdered sand, coconut palm trees, and exotic cave holes. Another lovely view that vacationers love is, as you lay on the untouched white powdered soft sands, you will see a giant wall of rock as you look up. Some say it’s a little nerve-wracking and beautiful at the same time.
