The intriguing name, Devil’s Tears, comes from the way the waves explode into this cove on Nusa Lembongan island and come bursting out with a loud boom, creating a shower of mist or “tears.” There are also some incredible rock tide pools that reflect the sun into a rainbow of color, forming one of Bali’s best sunset spots. Located on the Southeast side of Nusa Lembongan, the Devil’s Tears has a few spots to get the maximum water spray on the shore. Ensure staying a little away from the edges to avoid getting hit by the lashing waves. Look out for the blue infinity pool and the cliffs from where you can go cliff jumping. Have your camera ready for the best sunsets at Devil’s Tears. Reaching here, you can see several shacks selling local snacks. The place is a hit among the adrenaline-junkies and nature photographers in equal measures.
