Canggu Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Bali. In fact, Canggu was voted among CNN’s World’s 100 Best Beaches, snagging the 39th position. Canggu Beach promises blackish sand capped by lush green rice paddies and a beautiful blue ocean. Canggu is still undergoing development, so it remains a rustic atmosphere of a simple Balinese village. Canggu Beach is famous for surfers with two main spots being the ideal surfing spots, namely Echo Beach and Batu Bolong, a perfect place for beginners. The sand is black on both beaches, making it an equally wondrous experience to enjoy the view even when not surfing.
