Pisang island (Pulau Pisang) is locally known as “Banana Island.” It’s just a 20-minute boat ride from Banda Neira and encircled by healthy, species-rich coral reefs; home to an impressive number of vibrant fish as one of Banda’s top spawning grounds. Batu Kapal is one of the most popular dive sites off Pisang Island. Among its deeply buried rocks, there is an underwater valley going down more than 50 meters. Visibility often goes right down to the bottom, making Pulau Pisang a spectacular place to spot large fish, including hammerhead sharks.
